Flat Pack Modular Camp for Xiongan Rongxi Municipal Comprehensive

The Rongxi Municipal Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Phase II is a landmark infrastructure project of Xiongan New Area, a national future smart city. Cooperating with China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., GS Housing delivered a full modular temporary camp solution under the design principle of “practical, economical, green and elegant”. With innovative modular building technology and high-quality flat pack container houses and prefabricated KZ buildings, we supported the construction of Xiongan underground pipe gallery and set a replicable “Xiongan Model” for national underground municipal engineering temporary camps.

Layout Design Highlight

The entire construction camp adopts a central axis symmetrical layout, presenting neat, orderly spatial ritual aesthetics. The main office building is equipped with built-in corridor units that support multi-directional access from front, back, left and right, with humanized design details reflecting sophisticated space planning.

The camp integrates diversified functional modules built by flat pack containers and KZ prefab houses to cover all construction management demands:

Hundreds of modular units are prefabricated in factory with unified specifications, fast on-site assembly and short delivery cycle, perfectly matching the fast construction rhythm of Xiongan’s large municipal pipe gallery project.
