GS Housing Supports Hainan Emergency Isolation Facility Construction

During the epidemic prevention and control period, Hainan required a large-scale concentrated medical observation and isolation facility to strengthen public health emergency response capacity.

After receiving the task, GS Housing quickly organized production, transportation, and on-site construction resources. Despite traffic control and material shortages during the epidemic period, the project team coordinated prefab porta cabin shipments from GS Housing’s Guangdong and Jiangsu production bases to Zhanjiang, ensuring the project could move forward under urgent conditions.

With 902 sets of prefab porta cabins and a project area of 154,066.96 m², the project required fast execution, strong logistics coordination, and high-efficiency on-site installation. The whole project was completed within only 7 days, demonstrating GS Housing’s rapid response capability in large-scale emergency modular construction.

Advantages of GS Housing Prefab Porta Cabins

1. Fast Shipping and Logistics Coordination

Under the challenges of epidemic traffic control and material shortages, GS Housing coordinated multiple departments to ensure the rapid shipment of prefab container houses from Guangdong and Jiangsu production bases to the project site.

This cross-region production and logistics support helped provide strong material security for the Hainan emergency isolation project.

2. Heavy Workload Under Emergency Schedule

The project team quickly formulated a construction plan, optimized the construction process, and organized front-line construction teams to race against time.

Facing the urgent epidemic response task, the team went all out to promote early delivery and support the construction of a new protective barrier for epidemic prevention and control in Hainan.

3. Fast On-Site Installation

The project required extremely fast installation progress. To ensure smooth completion, the on-site construction supervisor quickly mobilized 70 workers to enter the site for construction.

Through efficient workforce organization and installation management, the project achieved rapid progress within the required construction cycle.

4. Construction in Rainy Conditions

To ensure construction progress while protecting personal safety and product quality, GS Housing builders followed the principle of “work quickly in light rain, stop during heavy rain, and seize every available moment to ensure progress.”

Although the project faced rainy weather, the construction process was not affected by water level issues, and the team continued to push the project forward safely and efficiently.

5. Full Cooperation Across Teams

All staff remained at their posts and carefully organized the construction plan and production schedule.

Even after 3 a.m., the team was still discussing construction problems, adjusting methods, and coordinating progress. No team delayed or slackened, ensuring that the project could be completed on schedule and with reliable quality.

6. Day-and-Night Construction Effort

To catch up with the construction schedule, GS Housing builders worked day and night. Some workers slept in their clothes between shifts, while others walked tens of thousands of steps within half a day across the construction site.

Every part of the project reflected the effort, speed, and responsibility of the GS Housing construction team.
