During the COVID-19 response period, Xiongan New Area required a fast-built prefab hospital to improve emergency medical treatment and isolation capacity.
GS Housing provided a complete modular building solution for the Xiongan Porta Cabin Prefab Hospital project, using 214 sets of container houses and prefab KZ house systems to form a functional medical facility.
The project covered a construction area of 4,954.46 m² and provided 464 beds, supported by 4 nursing stations and 2 temporary medical waste storage points.
By combining standardized container houses with functional medical support units, the project achieved fast deployment, efficient space planning, and practical healthcare operation support.

1. Container House & Prefab KZ House System
The project adopted container houses and prefab KZ house systems to meet the requirements of emergency medical construction. The modular system allowed fast production, flexible combination, and efficient on-site installation.
2. 214 Sets of Modular Units
A total of 214 sets of container houses were used in the project, forming a complete prefab hospital layout with patient accommodation, medical workspaces, sanitation facilities, and support areas.
3. 464-Bed Emergency Hospital Capacity
The hospital was planned with 464 beds within a construction area of 4,954.46 m², helping increase local emergency medical response capacity during the COVID-19 period.
4. Functional Medical Support Configuration
The project included 4 nursing stations and 2 temporary medical waste storage points, supporting daily medical management, patient care, and epidemic prevention operations.
